Mary Giuffre' is a freelance journalist with twenty five years’ experience working in television, radio, newspapers, magazines, press offices, corporate communications and on-line media in Italy, as well as an Italian correspondent in the United States.
As a journalist, Mary has written news stories on various topics including politics, business, crime and education, as well as real-life features, reviews, travel articles and stories on celebrity, cinema, culture and fashion. As a contributing reporter, she has written many articles for popular newspapers, several of which ran on the front page.
Mary Giuffre' is a New York based reporter whose work has frequently appeared in Tg5 News (Italian National Television), Libero (daily newspaper), America Oggi (Italian American daily Newspaper) and AGI (Italian National Press Agency).
Mary has also worked for many years for the Italian State television station, RAI, as well as for the magazine, Centonove. Additionally, she has also worked for the daily newspapers in Italy, which include La Sicilia, Il giornale di Sicilia, Affari Italiani, Radio Corriere TV, Corriere del Mezzogiorno and Il Tempo.
Mary has also worked as a scriptwriter for Italian television.
During the past two years, Mary has worked as a Media Specialist for the Malawi Mission to the United Nations as well as at the Zambia Mission to the United Nations.
Most recently, she has provided editorial consulting to a number of companies and organizations.
Throughout her career, Mary has interviewed various Heads of State and Government officials and famous actors and personalities.
She is a graduate of the University of Messina, where she earned her Master’s in Journalism, Science of Communication and Social Communication.
She is affiliated with the “Ordine dei Giornalisti,”the Order of the National Press. She was registered in the National Professional Journalist list in the 2003 edition and as a Publicist/Journalist in the 1996 edition.
